The best feature of the Blackberry Torch is that it is a portrait slide. Moving the keyboard off of the front of the device has opened up plenty of space to stuff a larger screen. The screen is 3.2″ tall–comparable to the keyboard-less Storm and Storm 2. But despite all these changes and updated features, the Torch is still a BlackBerry phone. RIM’s iconic universal search is maintained, the App World is still in place. RIM has included a new Webkit browser, but it looks and feels similar to the older browser. Because of the changed form factor, you will need to buy new Blackberry Torch accessories, but other than that, it is a standard Blackberry device. Just a much better, more refined device.
